Hey, I’m Faith! I’ve been a Rover sitter since March of 2019 but I began pet sitting years ago for my friend’s dogs, cats, chinchillas, mice, and more. I grew up taking care of my family cats and I love dogs just as much. I’ve spent plenty of summers volunteering at the Humane Society of Utah taking care of the animals there as well. I work as a full-time barista and my hours can be erratic, but I’m more than happy to communicate and work around my schedule to give you and your pet the time that you need. No matter the shape or size of your pet I’ll care for them just like they’re my own. Thanks for reading and I look forward to meeting your pets!

Faith watched our dog for a handful of drop-in visits and weekend stays during fall 2019 when we lived in Utah. Our dog is shy and was also taking oral medication at the time, and she and Faith got along great. She sent us glamour-shots of our pup during her visits and it was really great having peace of mind that she was in quality hands while we were at work or out of town. I would recommend Faith to the SLC Rover community!
We love Faith! She did beyond amazing with my two dogs. Bruce is a rescue and is fearful and needs some training and she was so patient and kind. She sent lots of pics, and kept me updated the entire time. I swear the first night we were back in town they were looking for her cause they both loved spending time with her the week we were gone. If you need someone to love your dogs while you’re out of town, definitely connect with Faith.
Our pup (Cleo) is very shy and scared of everything. Faith had her first drop in visit, and Cleo made it difficult by curling up and refusing to move. But Faith was extremely patient and tried various tactics to get her to be comfortable enough to go outside and it worked! Faith has been professional and caring throughout all of our interactions so far. We look forward to her upcoming visits with Cleo!

I have no breed preferences. Before a walk or stay, I like to get to know your dog’s personality. Do they have separation anxiety? Do they get aggressive around other dogs? I also like to ask how you, the owner, reinforce good behaviors and how you deal with bad ones. Knowing these things allows me to tailor activities to your pet and provide the best care possible.
A typical day
I'm a pretty active person and I love long walks and playing fetch in the park! I'll change up the activities depending on the energy of your dog. Whether your dog could spend all day at the park or just prefers some quick games tug of war a couple times a day, I'll always make sure your pup is happy.
