A caring, respectful and fun sitter
Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, and other pets since I was 5. I am currently assisting a local pet sitter for the summer, where I walk dogs, feed pets, do basic maintenance to litter boxes/ enclosures, and do drop-in visitations for about 30 minutes to an hour each. At home I have 3 dogs who range in sizes and temperaments- I can handle it all!
Reviews
Fae did a great job with our pets and plants. Our lab was a happy girl and had plenty of playtime. The cats were sociable on our return, and the plants and fish were in good shape. I highly recommend Fae and will definitely book with her again.
Fae is awesome with our 15 year old cocker spaniel. She loves him. She pays specific attention to his special needs as an older dog, like no walks, make sure he makes it up the steps from outside, etc. She makes sure he takes his meds when she feeds him. He misses her and has been looking for her since the day after she stopped coming!! He loves his Miss Fae!! Thank you, Fae, for taking care of our special little man!! ❤️
I contacted Fae with less than 48 hour notice. We got a quick response and she cared for our pets while we were away. Pets were happy and clearly well cared for. She even brought in our packages and mail without being asked. Thank you!
Fae was amazing with our two kitties! She always gave us great updates and sent fun pictures that made us laugh and smile. We felt very comfortable with her and would definitely recommend/rebook again!

Safety, trust & environment
An important part of pet sitting/ walking is boundaries. I never make a pet do something they do not want to do- I instead focus on building their trust and a relationship with them! After all, new people can be scary! As a sitter and guest of a home, I will always prioritize the welfare of your home and animals. Water will ALWAYS be available (and food, if applicable), the animal’s spaces are clean, and I will always ensure that everyone is healthy and happy throughout my visitations. When I first meet an animal, I will never reach for them or attempt to touch them unless their behavior has indicated that the interaction is okay. Regardless of their body language, I will always go at the animal’s pace- that could consist of not touching them at all until they approach me or snuggling with them on the first day!
Information Fae G. would like to know about your pet
First and foremost, I need to know how your animal responds to new people- while I am very experienced with reading an animal’s body language, it’s always helpful to get a heads up before I arrive. Allergies and potential triggers for reactivity are also important for safety reasons.
A typical day
When I do drop-in visits, I love going into the backyard with the dogs and letting them show me their turf! I usually read the animal(s) to see what they’re comfortable with/what they need from me, and go from there. When I walk dogs, I always take into account the weather and the level of foot traffic in the surrounding area. If it’s the first time I’m meeting a dog, I try to avoid areas with high foot traffic for walks (in case they’re reactive) and never go on longer walks when it’s too hot.
