Negligent sitter. I originally booked for 9am to 8pm but dropped him off for 12pm to 8pm. Instructions were to feed him at 7pm. Texted sitter to pick him up early, at 6pm. Upon arrival there was no response and my dog was barking from a pitch black basement. Conveniently, the sitter then shortly arrived in her car from walking her own dog at the park. Her reasoning for no response was that her phone died, which is unacceptable given she could be contacted at all times. She was admittedly frazzled and stated that Lochlan was walked for 20 mins, “earlier” in the six hours he was under her supervision. It was seen that the basement floor had kibble on the floor, despite instructed meal time. This sitter should be avoided at all cost if you want your pet truly taken care of.
