When I was a little kid and told my parents that I want a sister, they got me my first dog, a tiny chihuahua. She was my best friend, then we moved into a house with a huge backyard and we got 3 more dogs and 2 cats that I did not need a sister any more. :) There was one German Shepherd, one Cocker Spaniel, one Golden Retriever, 1 Persian and 1 mix breed street cat. They were all rescue. We basically all grew up together. This was many years ago back in my country, now I do not have any pets as I have to travel occasionally. But when I'm home (I work from home) I really miss their companionship, that's why I love taking care of other people's pups.
