Pet care experience
College Graduate and Aspiring Veterinarian at your service for sitting your best friend in my home. Our family is composed of my fiance, Siby (A female adult rescued Shiba Inu Mix) and Me in our spacious apartment in Harrison, NJ. We both were born and raised in Puerto Rico and have had dogs since early ages. I'm a Animal Science and Pre-Veterinary recent graduate aspiring to embark on the field of Veterinary Medicine. I have 2 years experience in Sitting and have participated in internships in Veterinary Medicine. I also have completed coursework in Companion Animals, Physiology and Behaviour. I have trained in first aid for dogs and cats. Why I love dog sitting Since a young age, my family has been surrounded by dogs; from little pups to big guard dogs. My interactions with dogs and other companion animals led me to decide a career in the field of Veterinary Medicine. About my yard In this apartment building, we have a courtyard with green areas, where dogs are permitted to run around during the day. Also near our home, there is a park with a off-leash and on-leash areas for dogs. My experience administering medication I'm comfortable in administering oral, subcutaneous and intramuscular medications. Also, any other medications like eye or ear drops.

I'm very open to all breed of dogs as long as they meet the weight restrictions. I will get a description of a typical day of yours dog's life, so I can best accommodate to his/hers needs.
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks Dog walk will be accompanied with Siby and will take place around the complex, where green designated dogs areas are available. If you dog need exercise, we usually do a small run with Siby (1-2 blooks) to keep her active and release energy. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dogs will have a splendid choice of the "Spartan Corner" (a corner in the living room, open access with pillows and blankets), the "Sofa", and a medium dog bed with stuffed dog toys. He/She could also share the bed with Siby and us if desired. Time I'll spend with your dog I'm at the apartment during the day (morning and mid afternoon), until I step out around 3:00pm for spanish tutoring. At maximum, your dog could spend 2-3 hours alone until my family's return at 6:00pm.
