I have been retired for a little over 5 years now. I have two Chihuahuas - Blondie age 15 and 3 year old Caesar whom we adopted 2 years ago after we lost Bigote - another Chihuahua to cancer :( He was 12. My babies run freely through the house; though they have boundaries regarding the kitchen. :) They are always at my side and love to play fetch; walk; and enjoy our backyard. I treat my babies as family, because they are! At night they sleep in their room which each have their own beds; blankets; etc... though if your baby would not feel comfortable; he/she may stay with me. :) I decided to start sitting/boarding because I realize how difficult it is to find good sitters. My own experience has been that I would no longer take my babies to board at the Vets; though they are great people; because of the cages and how scared they looked last time I dropped them off. I now have family that can care for them if and when I go on vacation. They are housebroken; friendly; and love everyone! I would treat yours like if they were mine. I always say I wish I lived in the country so I can own 5 or 6 instead of 2. By the way, my yard is huge and I have a nice deck where my own like to "lay out in the sun" and just chill. Sometimes they are like kids; don't want to come in the house because they just love the yard. With that said, I am hoping to gain your trust with your babies knowing that I will keep a mindful eye on them and make sure that they enjoy their stay so much that they may be hesitant to go back to "mom" :)
