The owner told me they would bark at me, to not worry about it - they did it to everyone. They never barked at me and she told me that had never happened. I understand how much we love our pets and I will treat yours as if they were my own because there is nothing purer than the love of a pet - with maybe the exception of small children (they love me, too).
