Pet care experience
Since i was about 12, i have looked after both my parents pets if they were away, as well as friend’s pets when needed. I also worked at a horse yard for a couple of years so have experience with all types of animal. We got one of my dogs as a puppy when I was 10, and I trained her the necessities myself including lots of fun tricks! My other dog was a rescue and he is now a senior, so i have experience with older dogs/ rescues with more special needs.

Evie is a kind, gentle, confident lover of animals of all sizes! From working at a stables, to caring for family pets while we are away, she has extensive experience with horses, dogs (she regularly dog sits the family German Shepherd and Samoyed), cats, and smaller animals such as Guinea pigs and lizards. She has her own transportation.

I will need to know if any health issues/ medications your pet has as well as any behavioural notes i should know about. I will accommodate to all temperaments and personalities and try and make my visits the most beneficial to you and your pet.
A typical day
I will spend time with your dog, playing and can bring my own fun toys etc too. I will also help maintain any training habits that you would like your dog to practice. I also used to live in central Newark so know plenty of places i can take your dog for walks depending on their needs.

Availability
I’m currently working part-time on a gap year, so have very flexible availability. If given notice, I can do all times every day of the week as I’m happy to change around my shifts to give your pets the care they need. Although Ive not yet chosen my future career, I would love to go into Veterinary Nursing, so this would be great experience to lead me towards that!
