Vet student who misses her dog!
Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of neighbours dogs and cats since I was around 12. I’m currently studying veterinary medicine at the dick vet and have plenty of prior animal care experience, both with my own dog and others dogs. I really miss having a dog around at university and would love to help you out with your dog. I have done some puppy training before with my dog so am happy to adapt to needs. As I have worked in a vet practise prior to coming to uni I am very sufficient in handling skills as well as administering medication. Most of all I just love dogs!!

Evelyn cared for our cats for significant periods of time over a four year period before leaving to study. She is reliable, communicates in a responsible way and has always been happy to help. She has a natural love of animals and has gained experience over many years working with a wide range of animals as part of her studies. Evelyn has not only taken great care of the cats but has also been reliable on entering and leaving our home when we’ve been away for long periods of time. She hasn’t even been phased with presents that our cats used to deliver to show how much they loved her. We would highly recommend Evelyn to anyone who needs support looking after their pets.
Evelyn has walked and cared for our dog since she was a puppy. Whilst at school she would come round after school to spend time with the dog and walk her. Since then she has often taken her out for walks and looked after her for longer periods, paying her lots of attention and showing her love. Our dog adores Evelyn and I would have no hesitancy about recommending Evelyn to look after your pet.
Evelyn has been looking after our Westie,Dougal on and off since he was a puppy- 9 years! She has looked after him less over the last 2 years as she has moved to university- he still makes a beeline for her when he sees her now. She is very responsible and I am always more than happy to leave keys with her as and when we need to. She clearly loves animals and they seem to love her !

A typical day
I love going out on walks and discovering new places! This can easily vary depending on your dogs energy levels, whether it’s exploring sniffs in a new neighbourhood or going out on a hike in the Pentlands I’m up for it all. I also enjoy putting together enrichment ideas and games in the garden for my dog. And of course chill out time after a long day of exciting activities.

I’m a vet student meaning I am quite busy, but available after 4/5pm most days and on weekends and in the holidays for house sitting.
