I have since moved out and am the proud owner of a little energetic cocker spaniel, Maple. I’ve had Maple with my partner for 2 years since she was 8 weeks old. I often look after my friends dogs when they are away, who Maple has a great time with. My partner has grown up with border collies on the dairy farm, so we love a larger dog! We have also recently introduced a lovely kitten, Marmalade, to our home. He’s full of energy and loves to play with Maple. We have also introduced him to my parents 10 month golden retriever which didn’t phase him at all! He seems to get on with dogs with no bother.

Amazing. It made the holiday all the more enjoyable knowing that our dog Flo was taken care of so well. The daily updates made us smile and kept everything stress free. We would definitely recommend using Evelyn and Amber and have no hesitation in boarding Flo with them again
Evelyn did a great job looking after Bonnie. Even taking care of Bonnie whilst she was in heat.
Words can't describe how happy we were with Amber and Evie! Went above and beyond with the dogs! And not only that went out of there way to go the extra mile! Can't recommend them enough for what they've done. And would 1000% book them again 😊 xxx
What a fabulous time Oban had with Amber, Evie, Mable and Marmalade. Amber is very confident around animals and we immediately felt reassured that Oban was going to settle in and be happy there. We had lots of photos and updates throught the 2 days which we really appreciated, he looked so happy, cosy around the log burner with Mable their spaniel and Marmalade the cat and loving life running aound the local park with Mable. We were worried he wouldnt want to come home. Highly recommend Amber and her "team". Oban would too ❤️

We have a large fenced garden that your dog has full roam of if you choose to board. We also have lots of toys that your dog can enjoy. Our dog, Maple, happily sleeps in her crate at night. We have a spare medium crate that your dog can use, or if they do not use a crate, we can put their bed wherever you/they prefer! If you choose to have your pet come to our house, that’s not a problem! We’ve had many dogs round and Maple is great with them all. She’s been well socialised and will either play with other dogs or often keep to herself whilst another dog is in the house. If we have another dog round, we always feed our dogs in different rooms. Luckily, Maple does not have any issues with resource guarding with food, however we will still keep them separate when eating as a precaution.’

A typical day
When we are looking after our friends dogs, we love to play with them in the garden and inside the house. We have plenty of toys and some enrichment games for those days when you can’t go out (heatwave days in particular!). We walk Maple every day - there are lots of green spaces around us that we’re able to let her off the lead and have a good run and sniff! Whether your dog is best off the lead or on, they’ll still enjoy the perks of the countryside!

Availability
We both currently Work From Home for our jobs, so we have plenty of time to look after our own and other furry friends. On weekends, we like to venture into the countryside for a scenic walk with the dog. During the week, we usually take Maple out for a lunch time run and again for an evening walk. We’re happy to accommodate if your dog prefers a morning walk.
