Hi there! My name is Evelyn and I have been an animal caretaker for over ten years. I was raised on a farm with a variety of animals as well as consistently having a dog to care for throughout my childhood. I also have professional experience working with dogs and cats at a pet resort. My responsibilities included but were not limited to: dog walking, playtime, feeding, cleaning living area, and bathing. I am here to make your pets feel safe, healthy, and happy! Evelyn took such good care of my dog Leeloo when I went away for the weekend ! She has a lot of experience working with dogs and really provides individualized care and brings a lot of energy and play into her work. My dog is a little anxious around new people but after some rounds of fetch she warmed right up to Evelyn and was even cuddling with her on the couch! Will definitely hire her again the next time I need a dog sitter.

I like to spend lots of time playing fetch or going for walks in the park. I always bring my water bowl for them to ensure they don’t become dehydrated. I always ensure they are feed accordingly to their usual feeding schedule as well.

There are many important things to be communicated about a dog ahead of them. Things like aggressive behaviors, allergies, tendencies, tolerance of other animals, if they’re easily distracts me, etc. Also, the age of the dog as well as if they have had any surgeries and any medical information the caretaker should know.

I love playing fetch or tug of war because it allows them to be very engaged and it is a great way for them to use all their energy!
