Pet care experience
A lifelong animal lover who has rarely lived without dogs. I grew up in Canada with family cats and dogs (and many other animals including guinea pigs, chicken, and goats!). I also have 10 years experience with horses, competing and riding up to 4 times a week. This included all the basics of horsemanship: feeding, cleaning etc. I shared 11 years of my life with a wonderful white boxer, Elsa, my first dog. With her, I learned the basics of dog obedience training, agility training and most importantly the special relationship one can create with these wonderful creatures. I have experience caring for dogs and cats (and other animals!) through all stages of life, including special needs such as medications, nervousness and incontinence. I am happy working with dogs of all sizes! A nurse by profession, I spend my working days indoors and I'm therefore always eager to get outdoors to reconnect with nature and animals. Looking forward to meeting you and your pup!

Eve was very good with my 4 month old pup. I received lots of photos while he was with her and I know he was happy and relaxed as he fell asleep fairly quickly, which is always a good sign. I would trust Eve to look after him again.
Eve is amazing with dogs. She is very caring, kind, patient, responsible and experienced with dogs. She is one of only a few people who I would absolutely trust without any concerns to take care of my dog for extended periods and to walk her on or off leash. She has owned her own dog, and her dog was well trained, friendly and really lovely and while this was likely the dog's natural disposition, Eve's ability as a dog trainer/mom encouraged these behaviours and helped her dog reach her full potential. Eve is very responsible and is very capable of caring for dogs while ensuring that they are both having a blast and are as safe as possible. On top of all this, dogs seem to love Eve and can't get enough of her :) I absolutely recommend Eve as a dog caregiver and/or walker!
Ève looked after my senior dog on many different occasions. Wether it was taking my dog for walks or pet sitting for me, I always felt comfortable knowing Ève was there looking out for her. Ève is great with animals and gains both their trust and your trust quickly. She is attentive to your dog’s needs and goes above and beyond to give your dog some extra lovin’ when you aren’t available. Ève is organized and responsible, quickly adapting to my senior dog’s specific medication and feeding schedule. Given my dog’s old age, she made sure to know my wishes should anything happen while I was not there. Ève is a pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate trusting her to care for any of my fur babies!! BONUS - she sends you picture updates if you want and who doesn’t love extra pictures of their animals?!

A typical day
Long walks, exploring parks/outdoor spaces, learning new commands/tricks, basic obedience, playing with sticks/balls, relaxing on the grass, getting pets and scritches, and generally getting to know each other!

Currently working part time and flexible with my work shifts. Happy to walk dogs anytime of day within easy public transport distance of my house.
