I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 19, fostered in my 20’s, and eventually adopted my own pup (a 55 lb American Staffordshire Terrier) I was fostering when I was 29. She was my whole heart and just recently passed at 11 years old. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes and personalities and always try to meet each one where they’re at. I walk/hike about 5 miles a day as well, so if your pup has the energy to join me, I would love to bring them along. I genuinely love animals and have a lot of love to give, and I promise your pup is in good hands when you’re away.

I can’t say enough good things about Eve! She took such wonderful care of my 6-month-old puppy, and it was clear from the moment I picked him up that he was not only happy, but had formed a real bond with her. She’s incredibly kind, patient, and clearly has a natural way with animals. On top of that, she even taught him a few new tricks! I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such loving and capable hands. Highly recommend!
Eve is highly conscientious, meticulous, and extremely caring. Your pet would be in the best hands. I have watched her care for dogs for the last 10 years. Eve is also athletic, strong, and full of energy. She is very present and very aware. She notices small details and gives her time fully. I have a fully fenced in dog proof yard and no dogs on site- just a couple chickens that I will keep in their coop for their own safety. I also have a small bird (a 3 oz cockatiel) that I will keep separated from any canine visitors for the bird’s safety. If your pup sleeps over, they will sleep next to our bed in their dog bed or crate, and will constantly have me around for companionship.

Availability
I’m currently work part-time, mostly from home, and I’m sure to always having a dog around, so I have a lot of time to spend with your pet. I’m available most days except Saturdays until 4pm. I walk and hike almost every day to a nearby dog park before sunset and sometimes in the mornings as well.
