Pet care experience
I am a university student looking to help out dog owners around Durham! I have always loved dogs of all breeds, and I have experience of looking after various different dogs. I come from a family of dog lovers, so all my life I have been surrounded by different breeds. At home, I have a 4 year old cocker spaniel (so I know how to care for high energy dogs!) and a 9 year old cavapoo.

Eve has a real love and affection for dogs. She has frequently looked after my two dogs, a small cavapoo and much more energetic spaniel! Eve understands their different needs. They are both always very excited to see her. Eve will play with them as well as walk them. She is reliable and is polite and a good communicator.

As I am in university accommodation, I unfortunately cannot have dogs to stay with me. However, I can come to your home to look after your dog in their own space. As I own an energetic young dog, I know how to keep dogs safe and secure.
Information Eve C. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if your dog is reactive to other dogs - I can deal with these well as my own dog gets anxious around other dogs but it would be great to know in advance. Also please let me know if your dog has any other problems to watch out for (chewing, peeing inside, difficult to recall). All breeds are welcome, but I have particular experience with spaniels, terriers and retrievers!
A typical day
I think it’s important that dogs, particularly high energy breeds get both mental and physical stimulation. As a result I love to take dogs out on long walks, play fetch and tug of war as well as letting them have plenty of time to sniff. A favourite game of my dogs is find it, which I enjoy teaching to other dogs as it is perfect for mental stimulation.

I am currently at university, so whilst I do have some scheduled academic commitments, I do have a lot of flexibility to look after dogs.
