Pets have always been a part of my family! I am a mother of 6: 3 amazing human children and 3 adorable pet children: 2 dogs and 1 cat! I'm a retired kindergarten teacher and always loved when I could have classroom pets. My students especially loved getting to know our rabbit, guinea pigs, and hamsters. Twenty years of teaching taught me how important enrichment and social interaction are for students. The same is true for our pets, too! Our furry friends need a lot of love and attention to their environment to keep them healthy and happy! Now, I'm a writer and I love taking breaks during the day to visit my pet friends!
