Pet care experience
Healthy, active senior, I recently lost my beloved dog Stella. I'm not ready for another one, so I have much love and attention to give to yours. I will focus on making your pet feel right at home, loving them as my own. I am a life-long pet owner and lover and have many years of experience caring for many types of dogs (almost all rescues ❤️), at all stages of life, all sizes, all personalities: among them a medium-sized mixed terrier, a Jack Russell, a dalmatian, and most recently, my dear girl Stella a bully rescue from New York City who lived well into her senior years. Because of her, I am experienced with walking leash-reactive dogs needing distance from other dogs, people, cats, etc.
Reviews
There aren’t enough stars to leave Eve the review she deserves. She was incredibly accommodating to our last minute booking request. Quick to respond and easy to communicate with, Eve put our minds at ease. Our sweet dog Loup can be very shy and requires a patient caregiver and Eve exceeded our hopes and expectations. She provided regular updates and shared photos putting our minds at ease that Loup was is the very best home-away-from-home care. I will request Eve for all future bookings. THANK YOU, EVE!!!
Eve was very sweet and caring with our dog. She had great communication and gave updates without us having to ask. She also kept a close eye on our dog who was recovering from a paw infection. Will definitely hire her again in the future!
Gratifying to have found Eva for our first Rover experience. She clearly loves having furries. She took careful notes about Lulu's routines, habits and tendencies, so I felt additional confidence. She provided regular reports and photos. Eva's in high demand. No wonder.
So happy we found Eve. My socially inept dog was immediately comfortable with her. She is also easy to work with on the human part of things, like scheduling and communication.

I live in a 2-story townhouse with a small yard in front and back, and safe, residential streets and nearby parks for walks and play. I am experienced with walking leash-reactive dogs needing distance from other dogs, people, cats, etc. Pet visitors are welcome on my furniture! I’m mindful of the cleaning and other household products I use to ensure they are safe around animals (and people) in my home. I have baby gates if needed to keep your pup safe and toys to keep them busy.

Information Eve B. would like to know about your pet
I am comfortable caring for pets with health issues, with senior dogs, and those of all sizes. Please let me know in advance what your dog's special needs are. Please tell me about their routine, how they spend a typical day, so that I can follow that as closely as possible. Also what makes them happy and comfortable, what calms them; and what makes them anxious or fearful. Please also tell me about any behavioral issues your pet has, any training you wish to be reinforced (e.g., staying off furniture, not jumping on people), what food and treats they can or cannot have. What are your dog’s triggers: Many dogs have things that set them off when they’re on walks: skateboards, bikes, other dogs, people in hats, you name it. what does your dog react to?
A typical day
When your pet is with me, they’ll get lots of one-on-one attention. I provide a calm and secure presence. If they like, we will enjoy a walk to the local park and around our neighborhood’s quiet streets. Instead of a fenced yard for potty breaks, I walk your pet around my small rear yard or down the street a couple of blocks. I have toys and balls for play time.

Availability
My flexible lifestyle can accommodate the routine your dog is accustomed to. I enjoy spending much of my time at home, a quiet, comfortable environment, engaged in hobbies or work. I have a part-time job working mostly at home; but will be gone on occasion, normally no more than 4 hours at a time.
