I have owned dogs since I was three years old, and am currently the owner of a lovely canine companion named Steve Buscemi. I am responsible and hard working, but more importantly, I LOVE dogs. Even when I was enrolled in college full time and worked two jobs, I was kept sane by my wonderful pup! I often dog sat for my roommates' rather grumpy dog as well. I have many years of experience working as a barn manager where I medicated, fed, and exercised many horses. Although they are (obviously) not dogs, my professional experience caring for them taught me a lot about how to be patient with animals, as well as some animal first aid. I also took my love for dogs abroad and worked for 6 weeks in Scotland at the Les Amis boarding kennels. I learned a lot about dog behavior from my boss, Bethany Martin, a certified dog behaviorist. We matched dogs into play groups, worked on basic training, and of course provided the basic care they needed while in the kennels. Currently, I work for Sitter4Paws in the Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, and Los Feliz area. More than all of these relevant skills, there are few things that make me happier than being around dogs! I love to learn what makes them happy, exercise them, and learn from them!
