Growing up my dad had a lovely bonded whippet pair, I would walk them together every day as a kid, and I've loved dogs ever since. At my mother's house we had a beagle who showed up to our country house and adopted us, later I helped care for my mother's cocker spaniel and my sister's rescue walker hound who had developed epilepsy. I love animals of all kinds; I've had cats, dogs, an iguana, and aquatic fish and snails. As an adult I've had a few sweet orange tabbies and have adopted my own rescue greyhound, who I trained from scratch and really enjoyed taking out to parks to watch her run. I prefer to hang out with all my friends' pets whenever I get the chance, I'm definitely hanging out with the cat/dog at the party. They've always gravitated towards me, often even very shy pets will warm up to me faster than other strangers.
