Pet care experience
I have always had pets growing up. My family continues to have pets. We've raised dogs, cats, and other small animals. In addition, I have cared for neighbors and friend's pets over the many years. I am responsible and I take the trust of my pet clients very seriously. If I was house sitting, I would be careful with the owner's property as well. I am organized and I am able to keep track of appointments and related tasks. I really have a love for animals and can't imagine my life without them. Pets are great companions, and I will be an enthusiastic and loving care provider, if you choose to use me. I look forward to meeting many new furry friend buddies. Try me out and give me a call!
Reviews
Having never left our former research beagle for such a long period of time, we were quite worried about how he would respond, as he can be frightened by so many things. Evan understood our concerns. He met Bentley three times before our trip to establish a relationship. Although Bentley initially wasn't eating well and was sleeping a lot, soon they became "besties" with long walked in the park and playing "go find it" games. Evan reported that he loved Bentley. It was so reassuring to have Evan caring for Bentley and to find Bentley attaching to him so well. Evan thoroughly enjoys caring for dogs and we highly recommend him to care for yours.
My pet trio ?⬛??were perfectly happy & well cared for! I would totally call on Evan again for subsequent stays.
Evan was reliable and good with our two Chiweenies. We are grateful for his care.
Evan did a great job with my large high energy dog!

Safety, trust & environment
My main goal when I do pet care is to provide a safe and loving environment for either my pet or anyone else's pets. I wouldn't treat the animals any differently whether they were mine, or they were pets entrusted to me. It would always be a safe, physical environment, fresh water, food if necessary, and a place for them to relax and hang out and snuggle. I live in a quiet neighborhood, so nice dog walks around my area, or around the owner's area, would be a part of the day. Finally, lots of attention and hugs for my new furry friends!
Information Evan W. would like to know about your pet
Safety for me is number ONE in importance. The information that I would absolutely want to know ahead of time are the specific pet instructions that are clearly written out. For example, what food does the dog eat, at what time, and how much. Does the dog have any potential allegories I should know about. Does the dog take any medicines that I have to include in the feeding. Is there a safe area in the backyard where I can play with the dog and let it run around. And things like that. The other information I would want to have is the owner's contact numbers and the Vet name and number they use. I also think it is important to have a close neighbor or friend that they trust, contact information, just in case. Finally, what is the time frame I would be taking care of the pet and a little tour of the place set up, so I know what to expect ahead of time.
A typical day
In my experience with dogs and/or cats, they love attention and with me, I like to give them attention. Dogs enjoy having frisbee or balls thrown at them. Depending on the dog and the space to play outdoors with them, I would always be ready to engage the dog or the cat with some of the toys that they enjoy playing with. Dogs and cats both love to be petted, rubbed, brush if necessary, or just hanging out on a couch or a lap with me. A neighborhood walk is always a fun activity to do with a dog. Because I don't know the animal that well, I would stay away from dog parks and prefer to walk around quiet neighborhoods.

Availability
My daily or weekly routine at this point in time for the last number of years has been working remotely. When I work remotely, I am able to set up my daily schedules, and work around any pet care that I might need to do. Working remotely allows me to be flexible with pet care times throughout the day, as well as allowing me to work from a client's home if they need me too. In fact, the ability to help with pet care is a nice diversion for not only the pet, but myself, while I'm working from home.
