Pet care experience
I have grown up with and taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old. In October 2021 our beloved Cocker Spaniel Jake passed away and our house continues to feel empty without him. Our 4 year old daughter misses having a dog around as well. We have used rover in the past to find pet sitting for Jake so we know how important pics throughout the day are to help put you at ease that your child is comfortable. We are on a quiet street, great for taking walks and have a fenced in back yard as well. Your child will be treated like a part of our family! I am only taking dogs that are low energy for the moment. *all dogs must be house trained *non destructive *kid friendly *human friendly *have its basic training *no anxious dogs *dogs not allowed on the furniture

Gus spent two weeks with Evan and his family while we were out of town and came back a happy, calm pup! Evan sent us cute pics and updates throughout - Gus and his daughter were fast friends. We were so glad that Gus got to stay with such a nice family and had access to a yard. We would be happy to have him stay with them in the future.

Did a great job with our dog. We have an 8-year-old boxer mix who did wonderful with Evan and his family. It should be noted they have a 4-year old who knows her way around dogs even at that tender age and our Bandit was missing her when we got him back home. Well recommended.

We have a house in a very quiet neighborhood that is great for taking walks. We have a fenced in back yard with a pool that is fenced in separately. Hardwood floor throughout our home with lots of area rugs so your child will feel comfortable.

It would be helpful to know your pets usual potty schedule. If your pet has anxiety around other dogs so I will know whether or not to avoid saying hello to other dogs when on walks. Special routines so I can maintain them and help your pet feel more comfortable. Any things that your pet is afraid of. Favorite treats, toys, places to be pet etc. Unfortunately at this time I am not able to watch dogs that have anxiety issues, high energy, or puppies.
A typical day
Depending on your pets energy level and needs we can walk around our quiet neighborhood block, do a mile and a half loop through San Marino, spend some time at Lacy Park in San Marino, or just relax in the house.
