Imagine your pup taking a stroll on the Pinellas Trail, Dunedin Causeway or around your neighborhood. They’re so happy to be enjoying the beautiful Florida weather with company. I gage your furry friend’s needs and go at their pace. Are they an energetic retriever? We’ll go on a run! Are they a lazy lab? We’ll stop and smell the roses. Do they like staying at home? We’ll squeeze in a few belly rubs. One of my earliest memories is of helping my great-grandmother feed her Golden Retriever at 3 years old. At age 9, my family moved to a horse farm in North East Tennessee. I grew up taking care of all the animals on the farm, from horses to barn cats and dogs. The horse farm was on a back road and many times people would abandon their pets. I took in many of the strays. Nourished them with love and food, then helped find them new homes. I cared for, trained and found homes for over 55 dogs of all different breeds and ages. Currently, I care for my own German Shepherd and Great Pyrenees mix, named "Sarge."
