I am a new resident to Corpus Christi, TX and I am part of the Naval Aviation Training program here at the Navy base. I have some time off before I begin my program and therefore am looking for some extra time I can spend with some loving dogs. Unfortunately I had to leave my dog back at home with my mother and I am missing her every day. I will treat your dog as if it were mine due to the unconditional love I have for these animals. While I was at college I had the opportunity to raise a future guide dog for the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind on Long Island, NY. I raised a 7 month-old Labrador puppy until she was 14 months old and got picked to become a breeder for the foundation. I attended Guide Dog Training classes and had evaluations on her performance throughout my senior year. The foundation required me to put time and dedication into the training of my puppy and I enjoyed my experience. Prior to this, a Labrador that my family had raised at home, was trained to be a physical therapy dog for the local hospitals and nursing homes. When I was very young, I attended dog training classes with my mother and my dog in order to get her certified as a physical therapy dog. We visited hospitals and nursing homes as volunteers and aided in brightening the patients day with our dog. I have years of experience with animals and I can assure you that your dog will be in great hands. I have very much respect and love for these animals and I enjoy every minute of my time I can spend with them. Thank You!
