I am an experienced former veterinary technician and now work for the state of Florida. I work in Tallahassee and live in Monticello. My hours are somewhat flexible with my work schedule, feel free to reach out and I will do my best to assist you. I am capable of caring for animals of all shapes and sizes, as well as ones with health conditions. I guarantee that your pets will be safe and cared for under my supervision. I will send photos and updates throughout the duration of my service, and follow any detailed instructions previously given to ensure that your needs are met. I understand that leaving a pet with a stranger while you're away is an inherent risk, but I can assure you that they are in great hands.

Evan spent the summer as a crew member aboard our 69-passenger tour boat. One of his tasks was, believe it not, pet-sitting. During trips he would monitor the interaction between passengers and our 135# Newfoundland dog. Three times a day Evan would walk our dog to the beach, stop to let people take pictures of our dog, and politely answer many questions related to our dog and Newfoundland's in general. Evan's background as a vet tech and his sincere love for dogs, made him the best pet-sitting crew member we have ever had. He is sweet, gentle, and kind, like a Newfoundland dog.

A typical day
I love to play fetch with them, run them, take them to parks or their favorite places. Watching TV with them and playing tug of war or their favorite toy with them is also great. If they are shy and timid, especially with strangers, I will give your pet the space they need to feel secure and ensure they get what they need when alone.

I work a 9-5 for the state, so my hours are pretty fixed. I have to take somewhat random trips out of town for work. We can discuss dates and times if you're considering my services, but I will do my best to accommodate your needs.
