Hey y’all, my name is Evan. I’m a recent graduate from the University of North Georgia. I’ve spent my whole life around animals. I have two dogs named Perdi and Neesa, and two cats named Grizzie and Bear. My Mom and I have been actively involved with the Alabama Boston Terrier Rescue, which is where both of my dogs were rescued from. I’ve fostered dogs that have been only a few weeks old to dogs that are over 15 years old. I’ve handled it all. I’ve always been the type of person to put all of my animals needs before my own, and I intend on doing the same with yours as well.

I like to think I am very gentle with my own animals and I'm always super cautious with them as well. I always put mine on a leash when I take them outside, solely because when I take them out I usually give them a good 5-10 min walk to stretch. When I house sit for my boss, he has a giant fenced in backyard and I spend hours playing fetch with his retrievers.

What do they like to do? Are they good around other dogs? Any dietary restrictions? House rules? Do you have specific training practices with your animals?
A typical day
The best place to take walks is in a park with plenty of trails and some place also very open. I think the most important thing is making sure dogs get plenty of exercise. With my own dogs, I tend to take them on 30 min - 1 hour long walks, and then if they still have some energy, I’ll play fetch with them. I love taking my dogs on joyrides just so they’re not cooped up in the house all day. I’ve never been able to take my dogs to dog parks but if given the opportunity, I would love to!

My schedule is very flexible, I am currently finishing school online and planning to graduate very soon. This gives me something I enjoy doing in my down time :)
