I have owned and cared for dogs for the past 20 years and am currently a dog dad to an eight-year old Boston Terrier named Bernie. I work from home full-time and am always available to provide care, walks and potty breaks during the day. I love taking work breaks each day by walking dogs, whether its Bernie or a new dog friend. As a freelance writer, my availability is perfect for dogs who need extended stays or extra care throughout the day. I usually only leave during the week to go walk other dogs in the neighborhood! The first thing a dog will do when boarding here is go on a walk with Bernie and me. My past success with dog care has relied on giving dogs who will be sharing space an immediate fun experience when they meet so they are on equal footing. It's the best way to introduce new dog friends to each other and lessens any territorial issues within the house.
