Pet care experience
I have grown up with larger/giant breed dogs my entire life. As a Newfoundland Dog owner, I have plenty of experience with larger breeds. Although I do not have my own dog in St. John's with me at this time, I am always looking for friends dogs to walk and care for when they need help, which is why Rover seemed like the perfect opportunity for me! I am comfortable and confident in my abilities to walk multiple dogs at once, and am an avid walker and hiker in all types of weather.

Evan is an excellent dog sitter and a true pet lover. It is not hard to see her genuine love and affection for my dog in how she interacts with him. She is very responsible, knowledgeable, and experienced. I would recommend her to any dog parent!
Evan watched my two dogs and they were in great hands! She took them for a bunch of walks, snuggled them and gave them treats and sent me photos the whole time! If you’re looking for someone to trust with your dog, it’s her! :)
Evan has been a Dog Mom to a 10 year old Newf along with caring for numerous other breeds, including Norwegian Ridgebacks and Labradoodles. She’s very passionate about all animals and treats all pet friends like her own! She’s dependable and very caring. You’ll be able to rest easy having her in your pets life!
Evan is one of my best friends, and if I had my own dog, I would absolutely trust her with them! Evan is always out for either a walk or a hike, and is a very active person! She would have no issue bringing a dog on her adventures with her and treating them with lots of love! I also know that Evan has a ton of experience with dogs as her family has a Newfoundland dog, Jeanie, and she spends a lot of time with her friends Rhodesian Ridgeback, Duke! In addition to walking with dogs, she loves to relax with doggos too and will cuddle up with them in bed or on the couch, dogs are allowed anywhere & everywhere with Evan! I honestly think that Evan is one of the biggest dog people I know and your dog would be in amazing, loving hands with her!

I am currently in a 3 bedroom house, with a large backyard closer to DT (it is only partially fenced), so I would require a longer leash for going to the bathroom. If I am taking care of your dog, you can guarantee that they will be getting my full attention and would be spoiled with a whole lotta love (and usually a pup cup from starbucks too).

Availability
Weekends are definitely better for me in terms of boarding a dog, so that I am able to give my full attention and energy to caring for them. As mentioned above, I love to walk and hike and I will sometimes even walk multiple times a day. The weather does not bother me, and I always have a blanket/ towel in the back of my vehicle for my fur nieces and nephews, so that we are prepared for any and all adventures!
