Pet care experience
Pets are often the brightest point of my day! I have experience caring for small dogs, terriers, and mixed breeds of all sizes! I currently have no dogs of my own but I have fostered multiple times with my girlfriend who is a vet student. I am a green level dog walker at the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center. It's a real pleasure to meet new dogs and their owners. I love walking dogs and spending time with both dogs and cats. I am keen to meet any and all needs of your furry family member(s). I have a home which is great for boarding and includes a big fenced in yard. I look forward to being of service!

I closely follow any and all instructions you provide for the care of your animal. I am happy to let out animals for as many potty breaks as they need and walk them as much is normal for their routine. I am respectful of pets preferences concerning friendliness with people or other pets, for example, and I ensure they have a great experience while they are in my care. Being an online student allows me to give lots of love and attention to animals I board!

I am interested in learning information about your dog such as feeding schedule and amounts, any medications they are taking, walking routine such as typical distance, friendliness with people and other dogs, sleeping, emergency contact or local veterinarian information, and their general likes, dislikes, or preferences! I will keep their routine as close as it would be at home as possible to ensure they have a comfortable stay, visit, or walk.
A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks both in the morning and evening. I like to visit numerous parks for walks in the area such as Pandapas Pond, the Deerfield trail, Hethwood Park, and the Huckleberry trail. I love to play fetch with dogs both indoors and outdoors depending on their preferences. I keep a whole basket of toys in the living room which all dogs are welcome to!

Availability
I am a graduate student who is earning a Masters of Healthcare Administration through Radford University Carilion (RUC) whose program is 100% online. Going to school online gives me more time to keep animals company! I travel to Roanoke two days a week, Tuesday and Thursday, to work on campus as a graduate assistant for RUC's Department of Public Health and Healthcare Leadership.
