I've worked at a kennel for 8 years as a caregiver and have just recently started volunteering as a dog trainer for puppies and adolescent dogs. I've grown up with many dogs in my family having cared for large and small breeds (Labrador retrievers, Norfolk terriers, maltipoo). I now live with my sweet 1 year old Australian Labradoodle who has brought joy and love. I work entirely from home as a software engineer, throughout the day I will have occasional breaks to fully interact with the dogs by playing in the backyard or going on a walk in the neighborhood. I can work with any feeding/medication schedule your dog may follow. I have a large fenced yard with lots of running/play room! My pup, Louie, has an abundance of toys and always has room for more. Louie is a sweetheart that loves to play with other dogs and he would make sure your dog will have a great time. I have a live camera available for you to watch them play during the day!

Moose had a great stay with Evan and his pup Louie. We love the fact that Evan only takes in one dog at a time. He sent me daily videos and pictures. Evan has a wonderful large fenced backyard. We had several meet and greets before Moose's stay. I would definitely recommend Evan

Anyone would be lucky to have Evan taking care of their pets. He has been around animals of all ages his entire life. To say he is caring and responsible with all types of animals is an understatement. He sends you pictures and videos of your pets and they always look like they are having the time of their life! He is great at forming a trusting relationship with you and your pet. You truly could not find anyone better.

A typical day
Your dog will get to play fetch in the backyard (along with Louie) and get to play with Louie inside, he would love to show your dog his favorite toys. We can also go to the dog park (Orion Oaks). I also regularly practice/train Louie some tricks and would be totally happy to have your dog engaged in the activity! Dogs LOVE being rewarded, especially with treats.
