I’ve been working with and around animals all of my life. My family has had so many pets over the years it’s crazy. At one time we had 6 cats, 2 dogs, 2 tortoises, 3 horses, a bird, 2 mice, a hermit crab, and a tarantula. My mom is a veterinary technician, and we had so many pets because when an animal would come in to the hospital, she would usually adopt them if they didn’t have an owner, or if the owner was abusive. In high school, my friend and I worked at a dog breeders houses for about a year. We would clean up the yard after the dogs had done their business, we would clean the dogs cages, give them baths, play with them, etc. They probably had about 12 dogs or so at a time, half being puppies so I’m very comfortable being around puppies and older dogs. What I would say sets me apart from other sitters is that I’m a very relaxed and flexible guy. I just recently moved back to San Diego after being in Seattle the last 2 years where I did Rover basically full time. I’m an audio engineer by trade but hanging with pets is a great way to pay the bills and I love doing it. Thank you for your consideration!
