Ensuring pet safety and trust is always on my mind when interacting with pets. Taking into account if they enjoy meeting other dogs and people or if they don't like to socialize is important when walking a dog. Also, being mindful of the weather conditions to ensure they are hydrated and/or warm. Lastly, I am always assessing the safety of a situation or environment for the pet's sake; making sure there isn't harmful items for them to get into, or unwanted attention from dogs or humans that would make them feel unsafe. If I were to have your pet over for a pet sitting at my house, I have a fenced in yard with two sweet dogs to play with. One of whom is a one year old puppy that loves to run and play, the second is a 6 year old dog that is happy to sit and watch from afar.
