Fun couple living by the dog beach
Pet care experience
Hello! I am a graduate student living close to the Long Beach dog beach in a medium sized pet-friendly apartment. My boyfriend and I both spend a majority of our time working from home. We both grew up with dogs (border collies and german wirehairs) and have lived with dogs for most of our lives (ex roommates with labs, pitbulls, corgis, australian shepherds). Because we like to travel, we don't have a canine(child) of our own and are looking for a way to spend time with a dog when it is convenient for our schedules. We really value the company of pets, and would be thrilled to take care of your well-behaved dog! We are very flexible and responsible, and live in a clean safe area. We have experience with multiple dog breeds and ages, and are very active and willing to play and take the dog out often. Although we do not have a yard, we live right along the beach and have quick access to grassy areas and open spaces.

Ben and Eva are FANTASTIC. They took multiple videos and pictures updating me how much fun Sparky was having on their runs. They have a genuine love for dogs and my dog LOVES them. I highly recommend them!
Eva and Ben would provide phenomenal care for anyone's dog. I know from growing up with Eva that she has extensive experience working with dogs. Both Eva and Ben had pet dogs throughout their childhood and Eva took care of friends' and roommates' dogs during college. Subsequently, one of Eva and Ben's stand-out qualities is that they understand different dogs' needs for attention. Ben and Eva can tailor their services to each dog's energy levels, especially at different ages. Whether it's a young dog that needs to go out for a long walk, or an old dog that mostly appreciates a cuddle, Eva and Ben are enthusiastic and caring. Furthermore, Eva and Ben are responsible and reliable. As a graduate student and a young professional, respectively, their schedules are consistent, yet adaptable to clients' needs. Finally, I can attest to their love of the outdoors. They are awesome, high-energy people who love to rock climb and hike. Both of them have expressed to me how much they would love to have dogs to take on walks and other excursions. Since they aren't yet ready to get a dog of their own, any dog would be lucky to have them as sitters or walkers. I can't recommend Eva and Ben highly enough!
