Animals are core to who I am. I spent many Summers at grandma’s ranch taking care of everything from horses and goats to golden retrievers and tortoises. I’ve volunteered to walk dogs for several shelters and have had the pleasure of taking a few to their forever home as well. One of my first jobs as a kid was training Jack Russell terriers on the agility field. I worked for PetSmart in high school and took care of the small animals and fish after two years in the grooming salon. I’ve been a pet parent for thirty years now, starting with my first goldfish.
