My name is Eva and I can’t wait to meet you and your pet!! I have approximately 2 years experience working professionally at a local doggy daycare - 10 years experience caring for dogs prior to that - and now I’d like to branch off and offer services in my own home. I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals - guinea pigs, dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, mice, and almost any other pet you can think of. I adore animals so much that I am currently studying for an animal science degree at Cal Poly Pomona. Luckily, this semester I am taking more than half of my classes online through the university - I’m home a lot! Your dogs are family, and I’ll care for them like my own while you’re gone; as a pet owner myself I completely understand the stress and worries that comes from being away from your pets. They will receive a lot of one on one attention - cuddling and playing with dogs is my favorite pastime:) We also live next two parks, a golf course, and I have a pass to San Onofre beach - your dog is about to run around in the sand! At your permission, I am more than happy to take them to the dog park for some fun as well. Expect to receive many updates and photos - I know what it’s like to wonder how your dogs are doing, especially with a new sitter. Dogs are typically walked once a day - or more frequently if you’d like. Otherwise, I have a beautiful fenced in yard that’s very shaded with many trees. We’re so lucky to have such gorgeous weather here in San Clemente, I’m out with the dogs almost constantly. Need someone with puppy experience? No problem. My time working at the daycare had me interacting with all sorts of puppies - big, small, shy, outgoing, teething, not potty trained, anxious, you name it. Plus, Our pug Bugsy is one of the most patient animals you will meet and is fantastic about running around, playing, and tiring your puppy out. Need someone with senior dog experience? No problem, I’m your person. My childhood dog passed away at the age of 16 a few years ago, and Lucy, our 11 year old, has heart disease. Needless to say, I know all about administering medication, along with the patience, love, care, and careful monitoring our lovely oldies need. I’m young, turning 21 soon, but trust me when I say your dog is in great hands. Since I’m studying animal science, I know all about animal body language, behaviors, nutrition, physiology.. you name it. Feel free to reach out with any questions!
