Qualified Veterinary Physio and animal lover ❤️
Pet care experience
I am a qualified professional Veterinary Physiotherapist (BSc 4 year degree) who has just qualified and moved to Lancaster. Animals are my passion in life, and improving their quality of life brings me great joy. I grew up on a farm surrounded by dogs (including a Great Dane, border collie, labradors, a basset and bull terrier), cats and horses. I volunteered at the Guide Dog Association as a puppy walker for 3 years, successfully socialising and training 3 Labrador puppies. I have volunteered in multiple rescue centers and have worked with a variety of breeds during clinics in my final year of university. As I specialised in canine physiotherapy, I spent four years learning about canine behaviour, health and welfare and strive to uphold the standards required by each to the best of my ability. As I am currently working part time, I would love to care for and love your beloved member of the family while being at home. I will use all my training and experience to provide high quality caring service.
Reviews
Loki loved her stay with Eugenie and Nell! We felt at ease knowing she was in safe hands, and loved all the pics and vids! Would definitely recommend. Thank you! :)
Luna looks like she enjoyed her day with you and Nell. She's already looking forward to next Tuesday! Thanks???
Ollie was with Eugenie for 2 weeks and i know he was pampered. She sent me photos and kept me updated daily. I think he misses her dog . ??
Eugenie is amazing! We met a few days beforehand and she asked lots of questions about Ruby and her routine etc. You can tell that Eugenie has a genuine passion for taking care of dogs. Ruby loved her sleepover and was so tired from the lovely long walks when we picked her up. I also got sent lots of photos/videos which was lovely. Would definitely recommend to anybody and would 100% have Eugenie look after Ruby in the future! Thank you so much :)

Information Eugenie W. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know of any diagnosed conditions, injuries, illnesses or allergies your dog might have. I would also like to be informed of any medication it may need while in my care. Additionally, I would like to be informed on any phobias (cars, loud noises, men etc) or behavioural issues (urination issues, separation anxiety) your dog may have to proactively avoid triggers and be ready to comfort.
A typical day
I go for a jog every day (+/- 20 minutes) and would be able to take a high energy breed pet with me if that is something required. I am asthmatic so prefer to run in the nearby park to stay away from car fumes on the road. I also go to Silverdale often to visit my partners mother so would be able to take your pet for nice long walks in walkers paradise that is Silverdale. As a physiotherapist, I am big believer of controlled exercise to reduce injury, so will not let your dog off the lead if that is something you require. I fully understand that some dogs and owners are not comfortable with their dogs interacting with other dogs. I only take on one pet a at a time and will only allow your pet to interact with other dogs if you as the owner are happy with that. I have several enrichment games that I can play with your dog to encourage mental stimulation that research has shown to reduce stress and improve social behaviours.
