Originally from Iowa, I spent much of my life caring for a variety of animals on a pony farm. In addition to the average of 7 plus dogs on the farm were dozens of horses, miniature cows, fainting goats, alpacas, cats, and chickens. From feeding and watering in freezing temperatures to shoveling horse stalls in extreme heat, no task is to small when it comes to the care of animals .I grew up with a variety of breeds of dogs in the home as well as on the farm. Besides leading horses, I am used to the large dogs as well as the small toy dogs in the house. Dogs especially are my favorite animals to care for and I will have as much if not more fun with them as they will with me.
