Pet care experience
I grew up in rural Vermont with a happy household of dogs, sometimes reaching 4 dogs at a time as our family grew! I've been taking care of dogs and cats for as long as I can remember--it was my first form of employment and one I continued to do throughout college to now. I now have a cat that I adore, so I have experience taking care of both. Partly through my experience taking care of my own animals, I know how to give medication, make sure animals are properly exercised/stimulated, and take care of any other special needs... You name it, I've probably seen it before!

Esther is the biggest animal lover and such a great stand in human for your pets while you’re away! She is responsive and reliable and you will feel so assured while you are away that your pets are in the best hands.
Esther did a great job checking in on our cat, Gepetto. She sent pictures and texts each time she checked on him. Going above and beyond, she also got our mail for us while we were away! We definitely would recommend using Esther for your pets, and we plan to use her again!
Porter seemed to have a great time with Esther over Christmas! Our house was left in perfect condition. We would definitely use her again!!!
We were very disappointed to have Esther leave our area because she is such a talented, compassionate and responsible dog-sitter. When she took care of our dog she would take Lily on long hikes and then cuddled with her to Lily's delight. Since Lily is a very high energy young dog, this was exactly what she needed! We also were completely comfortable while away for an extended vacation knowing that Esther was caring for the house and our three cats. Esther took the time to come over before we left to meet all our animals and be sure we were comfortable with her too. I sincerely recommend Esther for dog, cat and house sitting and believe that you two will be extremely impressed!

A typical day
I’m an avid runner and hiker, so I’m always happy to take dogs on runs or hikes with owners permission. And I can spend endless hours entertaining cats with toys, although really they’re entertaining me!

I work pretty standard hours, but I work only 4 days a week, so weekends are ideal! I am more than able to sit during weekdays too however.
