I’m VERY attached to my dog and we have NEVER left him to go on a vacation before. To say I was anxious about it would be an understatement. I found Esther on Rover and she sounded perfect. I liked that she was active and only took care of one dog at a time. We set up a meet/greet at her home and I immediately felt her warmth and love for dogs. Her home was neat, clean, and dog friendly. We talked and walked and by the end of the visit, I was sold. Esther and her kind husband took care of my beloved Marvel for 9 days and 8 nights. When she arrived, with a new toy, to pick him up, he greeted her with such enthusiasm that I was immediately at ease. I didn’t even cry when I said goodbye like I thought I would lol. They kept him busy with outings to some of the nicest parks in the area. He even went to a wine festival! Marvel had a grooming appointment during his stay and Esther took care of that for us. He got another new toy for being such a good boy at the groomer. Esther sent the cutest photo updates every day. When I asked how Marvel was doing, she was reassuring. On the day of our return, Esther kindly offered to bring Marvel home after we had a chance to settle back in at home. When she and her husband did bring our happy pup home to us, she gave us a thank you card with a printed photo from his stay (my favorite of the bunch)! I thought that was a very special and personal touch. And her husband showed such sweet emotion when he said goodbye to my beloved dog. That touched my heart. Since Marvel has been home, Esther has texted the first few days to see how he was adjusting. Truthfully, I think while he’s glad to be home, he misses them. These folks are GEMS. I emphatically recommend them and look forward to using their services again and again. Lovely people.

Esther listens to the pet owner's comments and watches the pet's demeanor and behavior very carefully. Doing so enables her to take the careful, conscientious care she does of your pet. Taken together with a genuine affection for her furry charges, it adds up to someone you can have full confidence in. Highly recommended.
