Adventure Jar Staycation for ur Pup
Pet care experience
I grew up with a family dog, during which time my sister and I fostered many many dogs and cats from the humane society. I have walked, puppy-sat, and taken care of many friends dogs regularly, at my home as well as at theirs. I have taken care of dogs from little puppies up to senior dogs. Walking, cuddling, and training all dogs is an absolute joy for me. I love all doggos. I had a 13 year old black lab named George who was the best boy and my soul dog. He is the reason and inspiration for my “adventure jar” type stays 😊. I now have an 8.5yr black lab, Cody, who was a senior rescue from a puppy mill in Texas. He loves the snow and his walks. He also loves other dogs and loves having new dog friends around. I will treat your dog as my own while they are with me. I have dog bowls and beds and toys, but feel free to bring anything that may make your dog feel more comfortable during their stay. I offer many different wonderful and safe walk experiences. New places and smells are great for dog's mental stimulation and enrichment :) I also offer mental enrichment and social enrichment activities. All geared to the level of activity and socialization of your dog. I am happy to update with pictures, videos, and stories daily, throughout their stay. I have no doubt your pup will have a wonderful staycation with me 😁

Esther is wonderful! It truly was a staycation for my dog. Esther's home is totally inviting from a dog's perspective -- open for sniffing, couches to rest on, and other friendly dog neighbours and boarders around. Despite that, they were out a lot -- he came home exhausted from all the adventures and time outside :)
Esther is just the best! She takes such attentive care of my dog and her genuine connection to him is so clear. The pictures and updates she shares throughout his stay make my day (and make me worried he won’t want to come back home with me! Haha). He gets so much activity, play and love with Esther. I know he loves his time there by the way he bounds up her front steps whenever I drop him off!
Our Mini Golden Doodle Mabel, who is a year and a half, has had two boarding stays with Esther. We were very anxious to leave our fluffy girl for an extended period of time, but Esther exceeded our expectations on both occasions! Mabel went on tons of adventures, loved her time meeting and playing with other pups, and got tons of snuggles and attention. We received many photos and videos daily and we were relieved to know Mabel was having the BEST time! Esther is an amazing communicator and treated our pup as her very own. I would highly highly recommend her services.

I have a small fenced yard for quick pee breaks. However, most often we will be going out for walks at the park right outside my door. My neighbour has two very sweet dogs that your dog can have play dates with if they like.

A typical day
We live next to a large park /green space along the River, where your dog can play on or off leash, play ball, or go for a swim or dip in the river. Your dog will get plenty of walks and adventures and be able to meet lots of dog friends and human friends. We also have a fenced-in dog park nearby where they can play off-leash. Level of activity will depend on your dogs needs. We also like to have nap times and mental enrichment sessions.

I work from home and have lots of flexibility to tend to your dog’s needs. I love dogs and my schedule allows your dog’s needs to be a priority.
