Hello! I love animals and am looking to care for your furry baby:) I had a beautiful golden retriever from her puppyhood to her passing at 14 years old. I am very strict on feeding times because I believe that dogs and cats need a consistency meal time to stay healthy. Dog Experience: I am an active person who would love to run or walk with your dog! I can play with your dogs all day outdoors or relax indoors with them. My favorite thing about dogs is their friendliness and their ability to pick up on people’s emotions. Cat Experience: I have experience with adult cats only. I feed them and let them outside to play in a secure playpen. I love their gentle demeanor! I also play with the laser for them to chase:). My favorite thing about cats is their introspective personality and soft fur.

Ernestina watched our mini Australian Shepherd Gemma and stayed at our home while my husband and I were out of town. Ernestina took great care of her! Gemma is high energy, active, and can be strong willed. Ernestina did a great job with her, playing and taking her out on runs (her favorite!). Ernestina is kind, punctual, and follows care instructions well.
Ernestina is incredibly affectionate and loving of animals. She absolutely adores feeding, grooming, and running with your pet. She’ll hug and cuddle with them too! We have 3 cats who have warmed up to her quite well. I highly recommend Ernestina if you want your beloved pet to be cared for, loved, and even spoiled :)
I have known Ernestina for several years and when we asked her to watch our two dogs (a lab and husky), she was thrilled! We had her over a few days before our trip to meet the dogs and learn the house, and we left her a detailed dog sitting guide. Over our two week trip Ernestina sent us regular updates, pictures, and we had peace knowing she was taking such good care of our fur babies. She kept the dogs on their schedule, playing with them regularly, and while they were happy when we returned, I know the dogs missed her loving attention when Ernestina left. In review, I would give Ernestina a 5 star review!

It is important that I know what your pet's normal routine is like. Pet's have feelings similar to us, and when their owners/parents leave, they may experience anxiety. My focus is to make sure your pet feels safe and secure. One way I do that is by keeping his/her normal schedule. If your pet likes to run, we will run. If your pet is used to quiet evenings, then we will have a quiet dinner before bed. Let me know if your pet has a favorite toy, blanket or comfort food. I can help smooth your fur baby's transition by using toys, activities or quiet times. I want to work with you to make sure everything goes smoothly for both you and your pet.
A typical day
What I like to do in any given day is explore the neighborhood or backyard with your furry pet! I enjoy long walks or short runs, to stimulate your pet's senses. We will play games together and cuddle up at night as we wind down with a movie. I like to text you, the pet parent at least once a day. I will send you pictures of what we are doing together and how our day went. I am more than happy to send you updates as frequently or as infrequently as you prefer.
