Pet care experience
I have been caring for dogs and cats for neighbors and friends ever since middle school. I also grew up with two dogs. My first dog lived to be over 16 years old and I helped raise my second dog from the time he was 8 weeks old (he’s currently 5), I’m experienced with dogs of all ages! I am attentive and dedicated to your pet’s needs.

Erma did a super job house-sitting with my dog Ozzie during a 10-day trip I took to London! They seemed to get along great and she took good care of Ozzie, while frequently letting me know how it was going and sending photos. Erma was also kind enough to come back in the early evening for an extra visit with Ozzie on the last day because my plane was going to be pretty late getting in. Much appreciated!
Erma was wonderful with my girls! She kept me updated with photos and took such good care of them.
Erma was amazing with our dog Millie on a recent week long vacation. Millie can sometimes be a challenge during rainy weather, which of course we had in Madison while away. Erma handled this without a problem. She also checked in with us numerous times throughout our trip to set my anxiety at ease. Millie can't wait to hang out with her new friend again!
Erma was an exceptional cat sitter for my Sugar. I was able to relax on vacation knowing that she was having fun and being taken care of by Erma. Erma sent pictures, gave updates, and shared cute stories of Sugar while we were away. I loved seeing and hearing all the things Sugar was up to and it made it so much easier to have fun without feeling guilty about leaving her behind. Erma is a 5/5 pet sitter and I highly recommend her.

A typical day
I love to play with dogs both inside and outside, as well as going for walks to explore and get exercise. I also enjoy playing with cats and creating mentally stimulating games to entertain them. You can rest assured that your pet will get plenty of attention while you’re away! If your pet is shy, anxious, or lower energy, I’m also happy to just hang out and do whatever will make them comfortable.

Availability
I work at a full-time internship during the week, so I am generally available before 9am and after 5:30pm. I work in-person, but I may be able to drop in during the day depending on distance.
