I have a 5 year old Shiba Inu that I adopted 2 years ago that keeps me on my toes. He taught me so much about dog training and structure with dogs. When I first adopted my dog, he was fearful of the outside and not leash-trained. I would take him for 2 hour walks to desensitize the outside stimuluses for him and also teach him how to walk on lead without pulling. I am happy to learn about what you need with your dog and especially if your dog needs a structured walk during the day. Structured walk will also help with puppies to learn leash pressure. I’ve also had taken care of various other animals growing up such as birds, guinea pigs, & fish. I had a cat during my junior and senior year of college that I shared with my flatmates. We all took care of him and when we graduated, he went home with my French roommate and is now a French countryside cat residing in Lyon, France.
