I have experience taking care of cats and dogs throughout my entire life. I currently have my own cat at home whom I’ve cared for since she was just a kitten. Over the years I’ve pet sit for many of friends and family’s cats and dogs and I’m looking forward to doing it on a more regular basis.

Pets are a part of the family. It’s important they’re well cared for, played with, and given plenty of attention. I take my role as a pet sitter caring for animals just as seriously as I take my role caring for children in my classroom. My own cat at home has some medical issues so I am familiar with giving basic medications, I’ve also cared for dogs with daily medical needs as well.
Information Erin Y. would like to know about your pet
I like to know any allergies, medical conditions or medication needs beforehand. Additionally I need vet information, what you’d like me to do in the case of emergency vet visits and an emergency contact to ensure all bases are covered and you can have a stress free holiday. Also I like to know the general temperament of the animal and any special requests.
A typical day
I adapt the type of play based on the animal’s needs! If the animal likes walks we go on walks, if they like playing fetch we do that, if they just want to snuggle that’s fine too.

Availability
I’m currently on summer break and in the fall I’ll be returning to part time teaching. I’ll be available for drop in pet pet visits as well as overnight house and pet sitting. Generally my schedule fits around the normal school schedule of the week with evenings and weekends available.
