Pet care experience
I currently work with a wonderful rescue fostering puppies and training until forever homes could be found. Anytime I have a foster, I will mark myself as unavailable so they can have my full attention. I unfortunately had to take some time off from dog sitting recently as well as fostering, due to losing our 2 year old Whippet Mix to Bone Cancer in January 2020. Then almost exactly a month later in February 2020, I received the news that I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer! I have finished with treatment and am currently considered “No Evidence of Disease”! Yay!!! I missed dog sitting so much while I was sick, and am so happy to finally be able to start taking jobs again! I have a history of fostering, training, and sitting that goes back several years. Working with and being around dogs is one of the things that gives me the greatest joy in life! My dogs are some of the sweetest and welcoming you will meet and I look forward to any opportunity to watch and care for yours! They will be as much a part of my family for the time I have them as mine are to me! They will have bed and couch space, kennel space if you prefer, lots of comfy doggie beds, a bin of toys that constantly litter the living room and lots of love and cuddles!

Erin has provided excellent care for our two dogs. She is extremely conscientious and keeps us updated regularly on how our dogs are doing with daily texts and pictures. They love going to Erin's house.

I am very conscious of safety for the dogs. When your dogs first arrive, if needed I can put up a gate between mine and yours so they get comfortable with each other before long interactions! I always, always ask for a meet and greet with the pups beforehand. I believe it is the safest thing to do so the dogs can be introduced! If I’m coming to your home, I’m careful when I come and go to be sure your dog is safe and can’t escape. I’m next to them 24/7 and keep an eye on them while preparing food, etc. I may ask to come to your house a couple times before the actual sitting so the puppers can feel totally comfortable with me before you leave (depending on the timeframe). The safety and security of your pet is my number 1 priority. They need to feel as though they are safe in the environment they are in!

My dog Brucey does the best with smaller and/or lower energy pups. The kind that like to play, but lay around and sleep as well and won’t jump all over him….if your dog is very high energy, it may not be a good fit but let’s talk it out and see!! ?
A typical day
There is a park down the street which both of my dogs love to walk to! We play fetch and they sunbathe whenever they can. Roxy is more of an air condition girl lol She originally lived in New York so the heat is a little much for her sometimes...but that’s ok! She just lays by the door until Bruce is ready to come in! Car rides are a must with my pretty lady so if your dog likes them too, they would be a match made in heaven (just don’t tell Bruce lol).

Availability
I am currently working from home, so I am here all the time! Your dogs will get plenty of outdoor, potty, and play time!! There are some weeks that I have to go into the office in Mesa, but due to the long day, I will mark myself unavailable for those days.
