Pet care experience
I have been caring for dogs, both my own and for others for 25 years! I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes and am able to administer medication and take extra special care of your sweet fur babies. I have a large yard with a dog run and live on a quiet country road which is perfect for walks. I live with my 11 year old son and our Beagle, Nora. We promise to treat your dogs just like we would treat our own, and shower him/her with lots of love and affection.

Sergeant had a great time staying with Erin! We will definitely send him again when we need boarding in the future.
Our golden stayed with Erin and her son for 6 nights while we went on a family vacation. I was so relieved to find a home setting like their’s instead of the typical dog boarding options. They accommodated his needs (not wanting to sleep in a crate like usual so they brought out a mattress to share with her son instead) and gave him lots of love in our absence. It was the first time we had left him for more than a night or two, but I was able to enjoy our trip knowing he was in such a great place! I will definitely book with Erin again if we have future boarding needs!

I have a very large yard that is not fenced, however I do have a run setup. I also live on a quiet country road which is perfect for walks. There are also many walking trails nearby that we frequent often. I do have 2 outdoor cats who don't spend much time in the house.

I do not have any breed or size preferences and am open to all dogs as long as they are good with children, other dogs, and are not aggressive. If your dog has any special medical, dietary, or exercise needs, I would love to know about those things ahead of time so that I can prepare my home adequately for your pups visit.
A typical day
We will set our daily schedule based on your dogs individual needs. If you have an active dog we will go on lots of walks/hikes and have plenty of play time. But if your dog is more comfortable just lounging around relaxing, we can do that too.

Availability
I do work a full-time job as a social worker however my position allows an incredible amount of flexibility in my schedule. Your pet won't be home alone for very long as I am available to do check ins and bathroom breaks every 2 to 4 hours. Some days I am able to work from home and would be there all day. I do have a large crate at my house for dogs who feel more comfortable in one while no one is home. But also have a free-range policy where dogs are welcome to come and go as they please throughout the house as long as they are safe and comfortable.
