Spending my days fixing up sick pets is an amazing career, but can be shy on the fun times like the walks, belly rubs, and cuddling on the couch. I am comfortable working with dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes, and I also have a background in pocket pets. I am happy to watch your special needs pet that may need a little extra TLC or multiple medications. I offer dog sitting in your home or mine. While I am happy to cat sit, I prefer to keep kitties in their own home as switching homes is often very stressful for them. I do have 2 lovely adult dogs at home (a golden retriever and a yellow labrador), but they will be kept in complete separation from your pet unless you specifically request play time. I have been in the veterinary field for several years, and I have been a pet sitter and rescue/foster mom for nearly a decade. I began studying animal science in 2005 and veterinary medicine in 2009. Despite my primary career, I am not able to provide medical advice for pets while acting as a pet sitter. I will, of course, be able to alert you if I feel that your pet has a pressing veterinary need during their stay and can arrange transportation to the clinic of your choice. My availability can vary substantially depending on the time of the year, please contact me for ongoing sitting needs.
