I have taken care of cats and dogs since I was a child. I grew up with two golden retrievers who lived into their senior years and required extra care. I have also volunteered at the humane society which involved taking dogs on walk and socializing animals up for adoption. I now have my own dog, a mini Australian Shepherd, Baxter, who has special medical needs. His condition requires a daily pill and monthly shot for the entirety of his life. I am very used to special care some animals require and the importance of keeping track of those medication schedules.
