Erin is a very loving, compassionate and sensitive person; especially when it comes to furry friends. Her compassion reflects in the adoption of her adult bunny named Stella. Stella was abused which lead her to not trusting people. Erin read about Stella's plight and decided to put in an adoption application. Erin visited with Stella and fell in love with her even though she was still not ready to let Erin touch her. Well, the adoption went through and Erin took Stella off to college with her for four years. Today, Stella completely trusts Erin and even allows her to pick her up. And, because of her warm personality neighbors have reached out to her to watch their pets overnight or while working. One unexpected sad event was so touching. Laila, one of the dogs Erin took care of on occasion became ill one day. The family called Erin and asked if she wanted to be with them at the veterinary hospital as they had no choice but to put Laila to rest. Erin didn't hesitate. She immediately joined the family to spend the last moments with Laila. To this day, the family still thanks Erin for her kindness and caring for Laila during her last precious days.
