Hi! My name is Erin. I am 35 years old and have been lucky to grow up with dogs all of my life. As a child, my best friend was a chocolate lab named Coco who was my student when I played teacher and my headrest when I needed to cuddle. Coco lived for 16 years which is incredible. Then came Shea. I didn’t think I could ever love a dog the way I loved Coco, but Shea proved me wrong. After having Shea for 3 years, my family got his half brother, Mookie. Unfortunately Shea’s life was cut short due to a mass that erupted but Mookie is still kicking at age 13 even blind and deaf. I moved out of my parents and I miss him so! This brings to me to Rover. I can’t own a dog in my apartment so why not care for yours? From my own personal experience of owning a dog, I worked a short time at a groomer, and spent years dog walking and dog sitting friends, friends of friends, etc. If you can’t tell, I love dogs. I’ll treat yours like my own. I’m the type of person who instantly gets distracted by a dog. A human could be right in front of me having a conversation and once that dog turns the corner, it’s all over.
