I'm an experienced dog lover whose German Shepherd passed away a few years ago. He was the world to me - we spent our years together doing agility, backcountry skiing, climbing mountains, cuddling, and playing (especially frisbee). Before starting grad school, I spent several years working for a holistic pet care company and have dogsat extensively over the years. I am currently writing my dissertation so would spend most of my time with your dog. I live in a yurt on 5 acres and while I do not have a fenced yard, there are hiking trails within minutes of my place. I absolutely love dogs and they almost always sense this and love being around me, too. I am also experienced and comfortable with dogs that are not dog friendly and if I have no other dogs booked, will often just dogsit for one family at a time upon request.
