Pet care experience
Hello! I’m Erin, a full-time high school teacher and pet-sitter on the side. I’m an animal lover and I have been pet sitting for 10+ years. I have a ton of experience caring for a variety of dog breeds and cats, as well as a few smaller animals (rabbits, hamsters, birds, and fish). I’m calm, caring, and patient, with a soft spot for senior animals. I’ve had a great deal of experience caring for my own senior pets (both dogs and cats). I’ve provided care for animals with diapers, medication, and mild mobility issues. I’m also experienced in caring for diabetic cats and administering insulin, as I’ve helped two of my rescues go into remission. I strive to provide the best care possible for pets, and peace of mind for their owners!

Erin is the most thoughtful and attentive when it comes to caring for your pet. Her attention to detail is so helpful, especially if your loved one has medication to pay attention to. Her energy and kindness is an asset! She will make your pet feel right at home. Our dog loved her long walks and play time.
Erin has watched my pug several times now, including over night for a week straight. She always sends me pics and videos to update me, spends time walking him and snuggling on the couch, and always leaves my place spotless when I return. Doug gets very excited each time she comes because he remembers having a good time with her!

Please let me know a head of time if your pets have any specific dietary needs, medications, or other medical issues that I need to be aware of. I prefer to meet the pets I babysit a head of time, not only so I can learn more about their needs, but also so they become familiar with me.
A typical day
One of my favorite parts of pet sitting is taking for walks! Especially in the evening during the summer time. If you have a dog that can’t walk far, I’m also happy to spend time with them in the comfort of their yard.

Availability
I’m currently a full time as a high school teacher, so from 7:35-3:05 on week days, I’m usually at work. If I am pet sitting during the week, I head straight to the pets at the end of the work day. On weekends, I am able to dedicate most, if not all, of the day to spending time with your pets. This is also the case over the summer.
